It is a Bluetooth remote control for amazon fire tv stick 1st and 2nd Generation. Also works for the old Amazon Fire TV box and the new Amazon Fire TV that came out October 2017. 

Firestick and fire TV are not included. 

PLEASE NOTE: THIS REMOTE DOES NOT WORK RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, YOU WILL NEED TO PAIR IT WITH YOUR DEVICE FIRST FOR IT TO WORK. (IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO PAIR PLEASE CHECK AMAZON)

Requires: 2AA Batteries.

Please restart your Fire TV Device & Hold the HOME Button on Remote for few seconds (30-40 seconds). 
OPTION 1- go ahead and press down the home button for about 40-50 seconds (the button with the little house on it). If that doesn't pair the remote try other options.
OPTION 2- Pres down the play/pause button for about 40 seconds. If that didn’t work 
OPTION 3 Press down the HOME and PLAY/PAUSE button for about 40 seconds.
One of those 3 options will work for you.
